2025 — A Year of Success?
Here’s what I’d like to accomplish in the next 12 months…
A week or so ago, I posted about what I accomplished in 2024 (I’ve included the link at the bottom of this article) — not because I wanted to brag...there’s nothing to brag about, I didn’t accomplish any of them. I posted about it because I wanted to hold myself accountable for meeting (or not) the goals I had for this past year.
One of the things that I firmly believe is that when you set an objective, you should be accountable for whether or not you meet that objective. Because I’m the kind of person who needs to have things to strive towards, I continue to persist in making these objectives for myself.
You might call them resolutions, but I prefer objectives. It makes it more practical and realistic — and gives me some grace for when I can’t meet them.
Truthfully, I won’t likely ever meet all of them — I firmly believe that the best goals and resolutions are just slightly out of reach — that way if you fail them, you’re still better off than you were before. but after failing everything last year I’m going to try and be a little more realistic this year.
Read 52 Books
This is a perennial goal of mine, to read one book a week — and one that I don’t think I’ve done…
