Medium Mobile — The End

A few months ago, I decided I was going to try out an experiment and see if I could earn enough money on Medium for a new car. Six months later, I’m calling an end to the experiment — and probably for the reason you expect!
It’s not that I wouldn’t (eventually) be able to earn enough money on Medium, it’s just that it would take so long that I’m not even sure I can continue to write about the same subject ad nauseum. There’s only so many ways I can say that I only earned enough for a few bolts this month.
It also doesn’t help that I’m not here for the money. It’s a nice bonus, and will likely get me two coffees at the end of the month, but it’s not my primary income source.
So yes, had I continued the experiment for another 5–6 years, I likely would have earned enough — and if I’d had a noticeable uptick in my monthly views and earnings, I would probably continue it for longer. But there are other, more important topics to write on.
Maybe I should start smaller…like a ream of copy paper, or a carton of eggs!
