At one point in time, Science Fiction gave us a vision of the future to look forward to. Sure, there were little problems, the occasional war with the Klingons, or a greedy space captain who shanghais an unfortunate soul into indentured servitude. Despite those little problems, things were mostly utopian in those alternate universes.
