Update Hell

Everything is updating right now
Today seems to be the scheduled day for all of my devices to update. I’m scrambling to get this written before my computer does an update that it warned me could take several hours and multiple restarts. Both my work and personal phones have also updated their operating systems today.
Is there some master schedule that says “update everything today” that is used by Microsoft, Apple, and all the other tech companies out there?
Okay, yes…I know that I could delay them if I wanted to, but I have to update them at some point, so may as well do them right away. I just didn’t expect every device I own to update on the same day — it’s really impacting my productivity!
